1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Jigsaw Blocks: Museum (the “Game”) handles information. The Game is published by TIRION Studio, the game studio of TIRION LLC (“TIRION Studio”, “we”, “us”). The legal entity responsible for the Game is TIRION LLC, Bagrevand St. 60/2, Building 2, Apt. 21, Nor Nork, Yerevan 0062, Armenia.
Privacy questions and requests: studio@tirion.tech.
This policy covers the Game on iOS and Android. It does not cover this website; see the TIRION Studio website Privacy Policy for that.
2. Summary
- The Game has no accounts or sign-in, so you do not give us your name, email address or phone number to play.
- Your progress, coins, lives, boosters and settings are stored on your device. We do not operate a game server that receives them.
- Advertising is provided by Google AdMob. Google and its advertising partners may collect device and advertising identifiers and ad interaction data, subject to your consent choices.
- Apple or Google processes purchases. We do not see your payment card details.
- The Game does not access your location, camera, microphone, photos, contacts or health data.
3. Information stored on your device
To work, the Game saves the following on your device only (in the app's local storage). We do not receive this information.
- Your display name. By default this is a generated nickname such as “Curator 1234”. You may change it to a short nickname of your choice (2–16 characters). Do not use your full name or any personal information.
- Game progress: artworks completed and collected, and the completion rewards you have received.
- Game balances: coins, lives and when the next life returns, Hint and Magnet boosters, and any timed Unlimited Lives.
- Your purchases state: whether No Ads is active and the identifiers of store transactions already delivered, so a purchase is never granted twice.
- Your settings: music, sound effects, vibration and language.
- Advertising counters: how many puzzles you have completed since the last interstitial ad, and when one was last shown.
This data stays on your device until you delete the Game or clear its data. Because it is local, deleting the Game removes it, and it cannot be recovered by us. If your device backs up app data (for example iCloud or Google backup), the backup provider may store a copy under its own terms.
4. Advertising
The Game is free to play and is supported by advertising and optional purchases. We use Google AdMob to show two kinds of ads: optional rewarded video ads that you choose to watch in exchange for a reward, and interstitial ads shown between some puzzles. Buying No Ads removes interstitial ads; optional rewarded ads remain available.
When an ad is requested, Google AdMob and the advertising partners it works with may automatically collect and use information from your device, including:
- your IP address (and an approximate location derived from it),
- device information such as model, operating system and version, language, and screen details,
- advertising identifiers (the Advertising Identifier, IDFA, on iOS and the Android Advertising ID on Android, where available and permitted),
- app information and how you interact with ads (for example impressions, clicks and whether a rewarded video was completed),
- diagnostic and performance information.
This is used to deliver, measure and limit the frequency of ads, to detect fraud and abuse, and to show more relevant ads where you have permitted personalised advertising. We have configured ad requests to return only ads suitable for general audiences.
See Google’s explanation of how it uses data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and Google’s Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. We may in future add further ad networks through AdMob mediation; if we do, they will act under the same consent choices and this policy will be updated.
5. Your choices: consent and tracking
Consent form (EEA, UK and similar regions)
Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), the Game shows a consent form from Google’s User Messaging Platform when you first open it. Ads are requested only as your choices allow. Where the form is required you can change your choice at any time from the Privacy Options entry in the Game’s Settings screen.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iOS the Game asks whether it may track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, the Advertising Identifier is not shared and ads are not personalised using it; you can still play the full game. You can change this at any time in the Tracking section of iOS Settings, under Privacy & Security.
Device-level controls
- iOS: open Settings, then Privacy & Security. Apple Advertising controls personalised ads from Apple, and Tracking controls permission for apps.
- Android: open Settings, then Privacy, then Ads. There you can delete your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation.
6. Purchases
In-app purchases (No Ads, coin packs and bundles) are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google processes your payment and holds your payment and account details; we do not receive or store your card number or billing information. The store tells the Game that a purchase was completed, and the Game then delivers the item and records the store transaction identifier on your device.
Restore Purchases asks the store to re-confirm purchases that are permanent, such as No Ads. Consumable items (coins, lives, boosters) cannot be restored, because they are used up.
7. Analytics and crash reporting
The Game does not currently include a third-party analytics or crash-reporting service, and it does not send gameplay analytics to us. Ad and purchase providers (Google, Apple) collect their own operational and diagnostic data as described above and under their own policies. If we add analytics or crash reporting in a future version, we will describe it here before it takes effect and, where required, ask for your consent.
8. What the Game does not access
- No accounts, passwords, email addresses, phone numbers or government identifiers.
- No precise location. (Advertising providers may derive an approximate location from your IP address.)
- No contacts, photos, camera, microphone, calendar, health or fitness data.
- No user-generated content upload and no chat or messaging.
The Game requests internet access (needed for ads and store purchases). On Android it also declares the advertising ID permission used by Google AdMob.
9. Age and children
The Game is a general-audience art puzzle game intended for people aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and you should not use it if you are under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
In countries where the age of digital consent is higher than 13 (it is up to 16 in some countries), you should use the Game only if you have reached that age, or with the permission of a parent or guardian, and a parent or guardian should help with the consent choices described in section 5. The age rating on the store page reflects the content of the artworks and is separate from this minimum age.
If you believe a child under 13 has used the Game, contact studio@tirion.tech and we will help. Because we hold no personal data about players, the main step is for a parent or guardian to delete the Game and reset the device’s advertising identifier in the device settings (see section 5).
Parents and guardians can limit purchases and ads with the controls built into iOS (Screen Time) and Android (Google Play parental controls and Family Link).
11. Retention and your rights
We hold no gameplay or personal data about you on our own systems, so there is nothing for us to retain, export or delete on request beyond any messages you send us by email, which we keep only as long as needed to respond. Data stored on your device is under your control: delete the Game to remove it.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal information, to withdraw consent, and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. For information held by advertising providers, use the consent and device controls in section 5 or contact Google. For anything else, email studio@tirion.tech and we will respond within the time required by law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. We handle personal information in line with the laws that apply to us, including the law of the Republic of Armenia on the protection of personal data.
12. Security
Local data lives in the Game’s private storage on your device and is protected by your device’s own security. Communication with ad and store services uses the encrypted connections provided by those services. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
13. Links and third-party content
The Game may display ads that link to third-party sites or apps, which have their own privacy practices. Artwork images in the Game are reproductions of historic works; see the Terms of Use for details.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if we add an analytics service or another ad network. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, tell you in the Game or on this page before they take effect.
